Go to www.beliefnet.org and take the Belief-o-Matic inventory. Answer each item as you actually think, not what anyone else wants you to think. When you finish, it will give you a list of the best religion matches to your set of answers, and rate them as a per cent. Then you can go back to the main page and look up a description for each of the top ones on the list. (Don't discard a religion just because of its name - look it up first.) Then, if you feel the need for organized spirituality, pick one and try it out.

Why a religion at all?
Why can you not lead your own life in a good and moral way being nice to people and not being judgemental? Do you lack the intelligence to do so? Do you lack the backbone to be able to believe in yourself?
By all means follow a religion if you have to but for goodness sake do not do so because someone else thinks it is a good idea or says that a particular religion is best. First question to ask yourself is why follow a religion at all?
You were born with a brain and free will - for goodness sake use it and make your own decisions.

You have to look at what each religion has to offer. Say you chose Christianity, you have to think of whether you believe in a stricter more fire and brimstone belief system or a more relaxed compassionate look at Jehovah. If you chose paganism you'd have to look at the various ways of worshiping and the plethora of deities to choose from. Good luck with choosing what fits you best.

Do you believe that there is a God?
If so then one would have to assume that if he is real then he is more than able to reveal himself to us if we seek him.
My experience was one of truth seeking NOT caring if what I had been taught, heard or "believed" to be true but just humbly wanting to know if he was real.
I would suggest if you really want to truly find God then simply humble yourself and ask him to reveal himself to you in a way that is undeniable and cant chalk up as coincidence etc. and I know that he will because he certainly awed and humbled me and my life has never been the same since then.

choose to repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart.Your life will be changed and you will have relationship- not religion- with The Savior who died for and loves you.
Invest in, (or open the existing one!) a Bible and read the timeless wisdom and encouragement and incorporate them into your own prayers....you will hear and feel His presence.
Choose relationship- not religion!
