Aren't God's units of measure "cubits"?

Hey Church Lady...

There's a Metric cubit!!!

Metric cubit, used in some countries, is 1/2 m or 50 cm.

They're not God's units of measure, they're the ones in use at the time. If you're referring to cubits, the first mention of them is in Genesis regarding the size of the ark Noah was to build. Contrary to what Bill Cosby says, Noah knew what a cubit was. If God had said build an ark ___ meters long, he would have been confused.

Because they aren't standardized, mostly. After all, my arm isn't the same length as yours, which could make things a little dicey if measurements have to be exact. I wouldn't want my house to be taller on one side than the other because one worker had longer arms.

All that measuring the distance from the tip of my nose to the end of my middle finger with my arm outstretched... it just wasn't reliable when we went to have carpets fitted.

Er lets leave measuring things to the scientists I reckon. You guys can just take a back seat and die for our sins thats fine with us.
