On the whole, fruit contains much less calories than other food.
Fruit mostly contains a lot of water, with vitamins and carbohydrates (sugars). Water contains 0 calories, as do vitamins. The only part of fruit you can get calories off is the carbohydrates, this is 4 calories a gram, half that of fat.
If you don't use up all your carbohydrates, it is stored as glycerol (fat), however the average person (male) need 2500 calories and I doubt you'd eat that much just eating fruit.
Fruits to avoid:
-Bananas - as they are pretty much 100% carbohydrates compared to water melon being about 2%.

Sugar stores fat
Protein burns fat
Salt (Sodium) stores water weight
Exercises Rules and concurs over all of the above.
24 hour digestive system.
You are OK since you limit your fat intake and exercise so the sugar in the fruit will pass through as long as your body stays over normal body temperature and or you don't combine the above in a 24 hour cycle period.
Excellent Question!!!

Considering that you exercise, you should be okay. If you didn't, then yes you probably would gain weight, because fruits have a lot of sugar in them and if you don't burn off the energy, it could turn to fat.

It really depends on your body type and what fruits you are eating. Yes, too much of anything 'can' make you fat. Use that as a rule.
If you really want to get the hard facts, go to:
www.webmd.com and search through the seemingly endless base of knowledge. I use that site and save myself so many Benjamins.

You can get "fat" if you eat too much of ANYTHING. Moderation is the key. I have never heard of such a thing. A variety of different colored fruits are a good thing, just not so much of them.

If you eat more calories than you burn your body will store some of it as fat.
