this dogs looks like a lion.. it has a mane .. the color of its fur is the same color as a lion... wat breed is this dog ?

hey thankz guyz i believe the breed is a chow.. can i get some information abt this chow.. like can they live in hot climate.. do they eat alot..do they need alot of maintenance..

It is a Chow Chow. They cannot tolerate hot climates very well unless kept inside in the air conditioning. They do not usually eat a lot (a 40lbs bag of food would probably last 6 weeks), but they do require a lot of grooming. They also need a lot of socialization and training to prevent the dog from becoming aggressive.

Probably a Chow Chow, but it could also be a Golden Retriever, a Great Pyrenese, or many other breeds. Without a picture it is impossible for anyone to tell.

sounds like a chow.. or chow mixed.. and they are not all mean by nature.. it depends on how they were raised.. i use to breed them years ago.. that are great pets.. but they do have a tendices to get red mange.. they get it from the mother side of the family not the fathers.. and there really is no cure for it.. you will treat it and it will go away and then come back.. but if it is a adult and you have seen no signs of mange i would not worry about it.. and if it is mix then that reduces your risk of it having it in their blood line.. chow are normally med to large dogs.. weighing from 30 to 40 ibls

Chows are mean dogs. All the ones i have ever seen were mean. I don't like chows.

blue mouth inside including the gums, golden coat looks like a lion....??? its a chowchow... not great breed around kids need to be firm with this type of dog but they can make lovely pets although they are good watch dogs....

If it has a black or blue tounge it is a full chow. If it has spots only, its a mix.
