I'm not sure but you might try focusing on the needs of others. It tends to make you forget about your own problems.

The underlying reason is buried somewhere in you past. But, since you already know and admit that your attitude is not a good one, all you have to do now, is get the necessary help. It may take some time, but do it for you.

(a) you have a sinful nature by virtue of the flesh and (b) because Satan knows this and tempts you with your flaws to indwell your thinking and to cause you to behave in a way that is bad -and (c) because it feels good sometimes - or you think it does - and so you go with it because you havent learned self-control to recognize it and stop it before it manifests itself

LIfe can be very frustrating at times, for everyone. It is unfair and it can make you angry.
When Jesus comes into your life, he straightens everything out, and he brings justice to you. Your attitude will change then, and so will your life.
