Hello! I've got a few ideas for you friend. My first recommendation would be for a freeware app called FastStone Image Viewer. It's a great app with a lot to offer, and it's not hard to use and has a lot to offer for free. Secondly, I'd say PhotoFiltre is another real good app that works well. You can get them free at either www.download.com, www.snapfiles.com, or www.nonags.com. You could also get Opanda Photo Filter (different from the previous ones), and it will apply various filters to modify the effect on your photos. It's free and you can vary the amount of the filter used, and should you not like it you can undo it. Should you need an app to do some photo size reductions, PhotoGadget is a real good one with several preset sizes... as well as being able to customize it. Good luck.

Both Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro have trial versions you can download for free. You have to enter your e-mail and create a password for both. I used both free versions to edit photos before I could afford to actually buy it. If you are pretty good with your computer you could probably use Photoshop easily. If you are not quite so savvy try PaintShop.
