This is very simple. Your body is going thru a process of muscle building. In the first few months of dedicated exercise you will notice changes mainly in the mirror - your body is flushing off excess water and is starting to reduce fat cell size while building and toning muscle. Since muscle is denser than fat you may even see the scale go up a little at first which is actually a good sign. The more muscle on your body, the more calories you burn, the more fat will come off and stay off. Keep up the hard work and never give up or get discouraged - consistency is the main factor. Once you stop, you've lost!

Muscle weighs much more than fat. When you work out you burn fat and gain muscle tissue at the same time. Its a pretty awesome trade off but you can't read those results on the scale! I refuse to weigh myself because I weigh a lot more then I look (a size 2 at 120 to 125 pounds). your making progess, especially if people can see it in your face. Most people tend to lose weight from the face down and the toes up, meaning you may notice results in the midsection last, but your getting there. Be patient because its been only 2 weeks. After a month your results will sneak up and surprise you, and the feeling will be worth the hard work. Do it up!

Invest in a good measuring tape. (not a tape measure) You can get them in the sewing/crafts section of department stores or someplace that sells sewing supplies. When you start working out you lose water and fat and build muscle. I've been working out 4-6 times a week since February and have only lost 7lbs, however, I've lost 3.5 inches off my waist, my pooch is gone, no more love handles, an inch off my hips and 2 inches off my bust. My arms are also much more toned, as are my legs, and I can do cardio for much much longer than I did when I first started out.
Start measuring yourself around your upper arms, bust, waist, hips, thighs and calves if you want. Write them down or start an online journal, and check them once a month. As far as weighing yourself, you should only do that once a week, first thing in the morning after you've used the bathroom and before you've had anything to eat or drink. That will give you a more accurate representation. However, your weight will fluctuate monthly, weekly, daily and hourly. Go with weighing yourself ONLY once a week, following the above guidelines.
Drink as much water as you can during the day to make sure you're not dehydrated which can make you hold water. Also, avoid sodium-filled food and drinks and soda/carbonated beverages. They'll make you hold water as well, and pop/soda/tea/coffee will actually do more to dehydrate you, so it doesn't count toward your daily intake of fluids.
Hope that helps!

you need to lose weight.eating healthy food is different to being on diet.some people only eat chicken and other proteins and nothing else. You need every thing in balance,so the scale will not show much difference in 16-17 days but you will feel your self mentally a little lighter. So the best thing is to be healthy and fit and eat the right foods. The more fruit and salads and raw vegetables and steamed food you eat the more weight lose.drink plenty water as you can.now the weather is changing and you eat as much melons and watermelons then you will see the difference in a week. The more fibre in your diet the better, cut the size of your main meals to 40% less, believe me you will feel much better.we do eat far too much than we need.

try keeping measurements of yourself... Waist, thighs, chest.... You should notice a difference in these measurements even if you weight doesn't change and your exercising regularly... It'll help keep you motivated!

Your weight can fluctuate a bit. weigh yourself before you eat in the morning, not at night. Sometimes you will see progress, and sometimes not. Almost anyone that diets will have that happen.
