As THE Living Word, the greatest commandment Christ imposed upon people was, ‘Love God with your whole heart, mind and soul and love your neighbour as yourself.” He even said that this commandment reigns supreme over ALL THE OTHERS and fulfils the entire Law.

So why do some Christians still want EVERYTHING spelled out for them- how to eat, how to dress, how to run their household, how to have sex, how to enjoy yourself. Is it not repeating the exact same mistake the Pharisees made in believing they can actually EARN God's love.

I thought the beauty of being a Christian means you accepted that was IMPOSSIBLE and God’s grace is a gift.

The apostles like pastors today, were just sinners see Rom 7, they argued among themselves a lot over doctrine. Peter often disagreed with Paul’s letters and said they are for those who are weak and unstable in their faith in 2 Peter 3:16. Why do some follow them like Christ and turn their opinions into a new set of laws to judge others with?

I'm so tire of Christain saying Jesus jus said
"Love God with your whole heart, mind and soul and love your neighbour as yourself" ALL he did was jus sum them up

If U love God with all ur heart u will:

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:3.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments." Exodus 20:4-6.
"Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain." Exodus 20:7.

"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." Exodus 20:8-11.

If u Love ur neighbour , u will:

Thou shalt not kill." Exodus 20:13

Thou shalt not commit adultery." Exodus 20:14.

Thou shalt not steal." Exodus 20:15.

Thou shalt not bear false winess against thy neighbour." Exodus 20:16.

"Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ***, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's." Exodus 20:17.

So all he did was sum up the commandments into two parts!

With out the laws we wouldn't know what sin is.

Christ did not say, "Sit down and write Bibles and scatter them over the earth, and let every man read his Bible and judge for himself." If Christ had said that, there would never have been a Christianity on the earth at all, but a Babylon and confusion instead, and never one Church, the union of one body. Hence, Christ never said to His Apostles, "Go and write Bibles and distribute them, and let everyone judge for himself." That injunction was reserved for the Sixteenth Century, and we have seen the result of it. Ever since the Sixteenth Century there have been springing up religion upon religion, and churches upon churches, all fighting and quarreling with one another, and all because of the private interpretation of the Bible.

Christ sent His Apostles with authority to teach all nations, and never gave them any command of writing the Bible. And the Apostles went forth and preached everywhere, and planted the Church of God throughout the earth, but never thought of writing.
