I need ideas for a tattoo with mening for my kids....

a portrait tattoo, their names, their names or initials in a flower or on a design. find something that reminds you of them and go from there

I actually have a tattoo of my daughters name on my chest above my heart. It's a heart with a banner over the middle of it with my daughters name in the banner. Behind all of this are some waves of water crashing around it all. It is by far the most meaningful of all my tats. I originally wanted to do the baby feet prints, but unless you have an swesome artist, they can get messed up bad.

i saw a really cool tattoo that was in the shape of a start that had nice handwriting all the way around it (the writing made up the shape of the star) and then it had the childs name birth date and time it looked nice..i am just waiting to have a child to do it!

I've seen people do tattoos of their babies feet prints, birthday, and horoscope signs. Some people even get tattoos of their childrens names.

i know of a single mother of 3 she got a half moon on her foot with two baby blue stars (to symbolize her sons) and a baby pink stare (to symbolize her daughter)its kinda like they are the protectors, in the sky she doesn't have any names or dates but people understand with out having to put it all out there. and its a good way to add to it in the future

When the time comes, I think I will have each of my kids pick something out(ie cartoon character or something) and then have their name/birthdate underneath. I am planning on doing this on my right calf.

one of my favorite tattoos is when parents take a picture that their kid has drawn and has that tattooed on them. it is so cute and will definitely always be special to the parent.
