SUGAR FREE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Yield: 48
1/2 cup Softened margarine
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/4 cup Nonfat dry milk
1/2 cup Sugar Twin
1/4 cup Water
1 cup Flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
2 ounces Dietetic chocolate candy, diced
Cream together margarine and Sugar Twin. Add egg, vanilla, nonfat dry milk and water. Beat 1 minute at medium speed. Fold in chocolate candy. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes. 31 calories per cookie.
these are my favorite cookies. I make them all the time.
for fewer calories, don't add the butter.
And I use chocolate chips. Semi sweet choc chips are better for those who can't have the sugar or too much of it.
You need to ask the dietician if you are diabetic.

Easy Peanut Butter Cookies
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. gran. sugar
1 egg
Bake at 325 degrees for 6-8 min. Amazingly good and this is the whole recipe!

Banana Date Cookies
1½ c. mashed bananas
1 c. chopped dates
2 c. regular or quick oats
½ c. chopped nuts
¼ c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. salt
Mix well and let sit for 5 minutes for the liquids to absorb. Drop onto lightly sprayed cookie sheet. Flatten slightly. They don't raise, so make them the size you want when finished. Bake 350o F. for about 25 minutes.
Yield: 23 - (2 Tbs. size) cookies.
Haystack Cookies
4 c. shredded coconut
¾ c. flour
1/3 c. rolled oats
3 c. chopped dates
1/3 tsp. salt
¾ c. cold water
¼ c. honey or orange juice
1-1/3 c. chopped walnuts
Mix together well. Scoop, with an ice cream scoop onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until brown (about 20 min.) at 350o F.
These are low fat, low calorie cookie recipes for health conscious people. Don't have to worry about a guity conscience.

Almond Praline Cookies
2 1/4 oz. package sliced almonds (1/2 C.)
1/4 C. butter
1/4 C. sugar
2 t. flour
1 T. milk
Grind almonds in food processor until fine. In a medium skillet melt butter over low heat. Stir in sugar and flour. Add almonds and milk. Cook and stir over low heat until bubbly. Remove from heat.
Drop batter by slightly rounded tsp 4 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 350° F. oven 6-7 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Remove from oven.
Let stand on cookie sheet 1 minute. Carefully loosen and remove cookies with a wide metal spatula. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

Sour Cream Sugar Cookies
INGREDIENTS
3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Cream butter with sugar, beat in egg, then stir in sour cream and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture 1/3 at a time.
Wrap dough in wax paper and chill.
Roll out 1/4 inch thick. Cut out cookies with your favorite cookie cutters. Put on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 minutes.

Got o the bookstores.
And what I found was neat. It was a desk calender and the picture was of the food and its recipes, so there were 12 of them all together and it has the space where you can write where you are sending it to and stamps so actually they are postcards too... so cool, right... they have the wts-it-called, the tear-off dots line...

you can use any cake mix and follow directions unstead of oil use water and just enough to be able to drop by tsp on cookie sheet makes a nice soft cookie easy and simple
