doing "guy" things? I'm talking about hunting, fishing, four wheelers, wading in creeks, rivers, etc. Personally, I don't hunt (never had a chance), but I love fishing. I'd sit there till Jesus comes!!! And i enjoy wading in water and riding my Polaris Ranger. Give me a cooler full of cold beer and I'm ready!!! Any of you other ladies feel the same?

I LOVE fishing! I could spend all day on the river, lake, etc. banks with a line in the water! Ahh! Just so peaceful! I was also a hunter (gun and bow) up until about 4 years ago when my first child was born. My husband and I decided we no longer needed these things in our home. But I have both my kids (4yr old girl and 2 1/2 yr old boy) loving the whole fishing thing and four wheeling. I'm sure when they get older if able I will take them hunting as well. Even though my husband does not share my feelings for the whole fishing thing he plans a fishing day for me atleast once every couple weeks which is all my day he deals with the kids while I sit back and fish my heart out! Then on the way home we find a nice dirt road to do some four wheeling on before heading home. I LOVE IT! As for the cooler as long as I have some pepsi on ice I'm great! I'm for sure NOT a Cosmo girl. LOL

I grew up with two older brothers, when I think fun, I think running through the woods or fishing, things like that... mud, dirt, fish slime, spiderwebs in the hair (as long as there's no spiders....) It all comes out. I was, however, somewhat sickened by the fact that one of these female fishing teams that came to my area for FLW tour have a hot pink boat though... isn't the whole idea of being a fishing woman to be AWAY from the girlie stereotypes? *sigh*
I haven't actually been hunting, but I have enjoyed helping my father with the nuisance alligators here in our area of FL, he's had the contract from the state since 1991, and I've had a -lot- of people doubt my abilities... the whole "girls can't catch alligators..." mentality.... silly boys....
Not too big on the beer, but I'll manage with a bottle of anything other than tequila.....

My grandaughter is 7 years old and she'll out fish half of the guys! We barely ever go when she doesn't catch something. She went with us last summer on a ten day camping trip to the boonies of Maine and she wore me out fishing! She can drive the boat too! She baits her own line with whatever we are using and is offended if you should ask to help! That includes crayfish and helgramites!
We also have four wheelers we use on our farm but also take camping. She's an old pro at that game too!

My dad took me out fishing a lot as a kid, and it stuck. I don't do it much anymore, but I still love fishing. I also really enjoy hiking, canoeing, and eating food made on a camping range. On the other hand, there is really nothing I like more than having freshly shaved legs, either. I think it's good to balance out my girly and my tomboy sides.

OH YEAH! SOMETIMES BEING TOO PRISSY IS BORING! I DRIVE A PICK UP AND DO MOST OF MY OWN REPAIRS,I WEAR OVERSIZED BLAZERS WITH MY BAGGY JEANS AND I EVEN CUT MY OWN LAWN! WELL SOMETIMES I PAY THE KID DOWN THE BLOCK SO THAT HE CAN HAVE POCKET EXTRA LOOT IN HIS POCKET.NOW WHEN I WANT TO FEEL AND LOOK "ALL WOMAN" LOOK OUT! I'VE GONE FISHING WITH SOME KARAOKE FRIENDS OF MINE,DID'NT CATCH ANYTHING CAUSE I WAS TOO BUSY TALKING AND EATING CHICKEN WINGS AND DRINKING KOOL-AID!...ORANGE,MY FAVORITE!

there are plenty of women that do these things. i love it. your just a country girl and there ain't nothing wrong with that. i have a 4-wheeler and i love to fish, canoe, go to the lake, building things, it's fun. there really is nothing wrong with being a tom girl.

i prefer dude sports i am not the manicure Vogue magazine reading type what i really want to do is go paint balling but my hubby says it hurts despite the protective gear and he doesn't want me to get hurt.i am offended by that because i gave birth to 3 babies without epidurals and they all weighed about ten pounds i doubt a little paintball will hurt me..BRING IT ON I AM WOMEN HEAR ME ROAR
