A human has three parts: the body, spirit, and soul.
A dog has only two parts: the body, and spirit.
The soul of a person is the part that goes to heaven, therefore a dog won't go to heaven.

Well I hope they go to Heaven and not hevaen... I dont know where hevaen is... :) just joking...
theres that saying...
of course all dogs go to heaven. Why do humans think there is only a place like that for us!!!

I sure hope so! I have three that I hope will be waiting on me when I get there. Two were general family pets. One was my personal pup - Poco. He looked like a toy Samoyed, although I've never heard tell of one, and I know his mom was a poodle mix. Whenever I used to let him in the house, he would run as fast as he could down the hall to my room (all the way on the other end of the house) and slide on my throw rug in the middle of the floor, then turn around and trot back to me like he hadn't just done something way totally un-doglike.

I firmly believe they do go to heaven. After all they never lied cheated or stole from anyone My dog is in a sunny place a wide open field with food & water He waits for me Then we go over the rainbow bridge together (Not an exact quote but taken from The Rainbow Bridge)

Well we can only hope, I don't want to go to heaven without being able to see my best friends again. My puppies are the only ones that always show me love no matter what and they always try to cheer me up when I am having a bad day.

i don't believe they do. of course i'm not 100% sure. but since dogs don't have souls and can't have faith in God then I doubt that they can.
