I am a really nice girl, but I can't seem to meet any guys! My main problem is that all of my best friends are guys, and typically guys don't want to approach you when you are surrounded by other men! Even when I'm out and about how do I get a guy to come up to me and start a conversation? I guess I just need to know how to look approachable...I need help....I'm sure if I could just look approachable then I could get guys to talk to me and maybe ask me out??? Guys do you ever go up to a girl when you are out shopping or something?? ahhh I need guidence! To top it off I am the only single one in our group now...I hate being a 3rd, 5th, 7th wheel ect...you know! I know I shouldn't care because I really am happy for all of them, plus for a long time I was the only one that WASN"T single...but I'm really ready to start dating...I just don't know how...help!

Hun if you want something go after it. If you see a guy you want to talk to then you approach him. Confidence is sexy and very appealing. Why just sit back and wait? You'll just continue to question why guys don't approach you. Make the excitement happen for yourself.
If you approach a guy when you're with a group of friends, then you're obviously putting the message out there you're single.
Just think about that. You're only pittying yourself by sitting back and waiting.

It can be hard for guys to go up to a girl and talk to them if she is surrounded by guys. First of all they are all probably protective of you so going up to talk to you and having 5 guys staring at you and making comments is not a situation that most guys feel comfortable with. We will also assume that you are with one of them. The easiest way is for you to approach whoever you are interested in and let them know your not with anybody. Just set yourself apart from your guy friends if want to have good discussions. Plus guys love it when women confront them. Kind of hot. Hope it helps.

Despite what happens on t.v. it's rare to just walk up to people for the first time and ask them out.
If there's a reason to strike up a conv with a guy (that isn't going out) it'll help get the ball rolling. for example asking a guys help in a shop (not one that works there!), for an opinion or for advice (in a sports shop for example).
Also if your out with girls and see a guy you like have a friend go over and say you like him and would he fancy coming over (don't stare whilst shes doin it, pretend you don't know she is).

Why wait for a guy to approach you? Ask an interesting looking guy to dance. Or introduce yourself. "Hi I'm ____, where are you from?" That's really all it takes. You give all your power away if you are waiting for guys to initiate.

Make friendly when you see a guy you like, smile at him, stare at him, he will get the point. If not, you strike up a conversation, guys don't need much excuse to talk if they like you.
