Are Christians worshiping the incredible shrinking god. I mean at one time it was supposedly capable of flinging thousands of billions of galaxies into existence with a mere thought. By the time of Noah, it was reduced to flooding an insignificant speck in the cosmos. By the time of Moses, its best trick was moving a tiny portion of a minor sea aside for a short while. By the time of Jesus, it has to send a delegate on its behalf who leaves behind only rumors that he was able to turn water into another beverage, or render himself extra buoyant. Today it counts as a miracle if a water stain grows mold that kind of looks like a bearded face which could be claimed to resemble this supposed delegate. How much more pathetic can this god get? How do Christians manage to sing praises of its glory and greatness without feeling like fools--or at best, like new parents gushing over their toddler's ability to make a wee-wee

Those gaps he exists in are getting narrower and narrower with every passing moment. His starvation diet is getting to him.

no god is not getting less powerful . The lawless ones mentioned in the bible are now coming into this world. And that may make it seem so. But it is not for real. Like it or not there are some things that god is always in control of.

All that is happening today has been foreseen by God and Prophesied in the Bible

2Ti 3:1 ¶ This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

And also In Matthew.

Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Mat 24:8 All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.

Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Yes, I am afraid so especially the one that is tall and wears a pair of red & white stripped pants; a blue jacket; a red white & blue top hat; sports a white beard, and answers to the name: UNCLE SAM!!! Don't you agree he's becoming less powerful in the world?

It's human's ability to recognize God's power that is shrinking. Many people attribute God's power to coincidence or luck.

God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and his miracles never end.

In my opinion, a god can't lose power.

If there is a god, then we just don't attribute the things he does to him.
If there isn't a god, then we are finally realizing the real reasons why things happen.

Take your pick.

You're looking at only one side. As G-d "shrunk" as you put it, He left us to learn how to stand more on our own. As G-d performed less obvious miracles over time, we have grown and learned to do greater good ourselves.
