Shame on you adults for allowing the child to torture the dog, and for not removing the nephew from a dangerous situation. By letting him continue to wrestle with the dog in a rough way, you set your nephew up for this incident. Of course the ear won't grow back. Hopefully you had enough sense to take him to the ER so the wound can be properly cleaned and he doesn't get an infection. If you haven't, take him now.

No,Sorry,it will not grow back....It will eventually heal and depending on how big of piece was bit off(if tiny piece)It will heal and not be noticable more then likely....If it's a big piece then you could take the piece and your nephew to the Emergency Room and they can re-attach it...only if you put the piece into a bag of ice or something frozen like that...This will up the chances of the piece being able to"live"once it's re-attached......

If it's only a small piece I would not worry about it,Just make sure he goes to see a doctor to prevent Infection.

Hope this helps!

serves your (nephew) right for messing with the dog, obvious if you put a dog in a possition it cant get out of it will bite, and no the ear wont grow back without skin grafts or plastic surgery!!!

No, it won't grow back, it will just heal over, sounds like a hard lesson learned for you nephew, maybe he will respect the dogs space now.
