I do not think it's inappropriate on the first date. Like one person stated, it depends on the pair. It can also depend on the moment/situation.

no why would it be? I dont see why you cant kiss if both of you are completely comfortable with doing it. I mean like even just kiss him on the cheek that would probably be the safetest way to go and if he leans in more he wants to keep on kissing you. So if I were you I would kiss him on the cheek first.

I don't think so. Some people prefer not to, which is also fine. But it is a date, and if you both really like each other and everything went well, why not share a kiss?

It's okay if it is what both of you want. I kissed my Boyfriend on the first date and we are still together. Dont worry about it too much, just go with the flow.
