Kharma is that which holds this physical body in Maya. (The world of Suffering.) Kharma is that which we accumulate in ignorance of what life is. It is that which brings us back, life time after life time, giving us the chance to come to some understanding. If you truly want to attain peace, it is only derived by the dropping off of the ego self (this is what perpetuates Kharmic influences). By meditation and going deep into your own consciousness you come to realise the true self, the eternal, the unchanging. (That personality which is already perfect) It is in you, it is in me, it is in all beings and all things. Then you come to understand why there is suffering, and it's purpose in life. Living a Kharmic free life is the only way you can be sure that your actions will always be the right action. You can only prepare for the next moment, you can not predict how you will react. There is nothing wrong with desiring to do good, in fact, right thought, leads to right speech, leads to right actions. But to become these is a continual struggle, life doesn't get easier, it just gets tougher. To try to accept what is, in each moment and let go of any idea's of what you want, either for you or anyone else is as perfect as you can become at this time and in this present reality. And that truly has to be good enough for all.

the question is kind of hard to understand (no offense intended). good karma is easier than you think. it's split into 3 parts.
First, action really is happening -- it's not an illusion.
Second, you really are responsible for your actions. There's no outside force like the stars or some good or evil being acting through you. When you're conscious, you're the one who decides what to do.
Third, your actions have results -- you're not just writing on the water -- and those results can be good or bad depending on the quality of the intention behind the act.
be aware and just think before you act.

Do nice things because you want to do nice things. Don't do them because you want good karma. That defeats the whole purpose of doing nice things!
Some nice things to do: Go to a nursing home and visit someone who hasn't had a visitor in awhile, volunteer at an animal shelter, visit an elderly neighbor and ask if they need any help with chores or errands, stuff like that.

You could start by giving me ten points!!! Joke that's really shallow of me. Why don't you do some volunteer work or if you don't have time you can always do something simple like sort out old clothes and stuff then donate it all to a charity shop? It's instant good Karma that you're trying to find a way to help others.x.

Then at least do no harm... use your speech for benefit only, and while using good common sense conduct your actions the same way.
If you want to slam the brakes on your bad karma, study how understand how bad karma arises, cultivate a calmer mind when it does arise so that you're not reacting to it and therefore generating more bad karma, while conducting yourself ethically (see above).
More info on Buddhist ethics can be read at buddhanet.net, see writings on the Eightfold Path, Bodhicitta, etc.

Try to do good for someone today, i try to do three good things for people everyday. I believe it is returned to me in the same sense that it was given out, per say I lent someone a dollar, i would get 3 back from someone else. If i ignored someones plea for help, My plea would be ignored thrice over. this is a mix of the threefold law and karma, just do good for others and yourself.

trying loving yourself even more than helping others! At first anyway, you do good things to yourself, you will be glow like a shining beacon and people would want to know you, then go straight to it. you will be rewarded in the end

If you want good karma, treat others as you would like to be treated and practice compassion, kindness, empathy and don't judge others. None of this costs a penny.

Karma is basically this, what you give to the world, you get back. You want to have right thoughts, actions, and attitude. When you can do that, you will be helping yourself, and others too.
