How is being a teenager today different from when you were a teenager?

What is the hardest part of being a parent?

What's the most important goal in your life?

If marijuana were legalized, would it still be wrong to smoke it?

One question I'd like to ask God is...?

What's the greatest problem facing people your age?

Thanks for your help with this, my youth group students will hopefully get a lot out of it!

Not quite sure who you've aimed these questions at but here goes:
I think kids have it much harder today than when we were teenagers. We had a life that was much safer and much less violent and hard. So much is expected today and kids are totally ignored - their needs are put to one side and they are treated as though they are just burdens - with attitude.
The hardest part of being a parent is trying to maintain the same relationship with your children as you had when they were small. It is hard soemtimes to get through the resentments and the attitudes and to reach the kid you love.
The most important goal in my life is to ensure that my children are properly prepared for adulthood.
Yes, I believe that cannabis is very harmful as it can lead to schizophrenia and other mental problems.
I'd like to ask God to redesign the human body so that it doesn't sweat, have pimples, periods and smelly feet.
Fear of old age.

I'm only 22, so it's about the same.

The hardest part of being a mother is that there seems to be an infinate number of wrongs you can do for your children and not a single right.

My most important goal is to see to it that my daughters grow up into intelligent young women that love themselves and others.

Anything that adversely affects your health or judgement is wrong, but I have no problems with other people's choices as long as nobody else is affected by them.

Why does somebody like my aunt have to die young while someone far more evil can live to old age.

Being a teen today is much different from when I was a teen...the internet for one is a big contributer to that.....techinology has opened the door for so many temptations that face the teens today! Peer pressure and the desire to keep up with what "friends" are doing makes this difficult on the young people today!

The hardest part of being a parent for me is realizing just how different times are now than when I was a teen and keeping them from making the same mistakes I made. I've always been one to advocate learning from our own mistakes and this makes them think that they have "earned" a right to do what I did and that because I turned out o-kay that they too should be able to do that and I shouldn't try to prevent them from doing some of those things if I did.

The important thing to realize in regards to the legalization of mariuana is not whether or not you will "get in trouble" but the hazards of smoking it.....smoking cigarettes is legal, but it still causes cancer and is unhealthy for you as well as those around you!

One question I'd like to ask God is what his purpose is for me. I always try to keep an open mind and be mindful of what messege I'm portraying to others....but worry that I'm not leading the way I should. Many people who are trying to follow God's word choose only good people or Christians as friends...I've always felt like it was more important to befriend those who were not Christians or were leading their lives in the wrong direction and being a positive example for them....in hopes that they would find the right direction in life through me. My mom use to forbid me from hanging around "bad" kids because she was afraid I'd be influenced by their decisions rather than having faith in the fact that she had raised me up in God's plan and that I just might be able to lead them in the right direction. Now, as a parent, I can see how this would make a parent nervous....temptation and the strength of Satan can be sooo strong...and I too now worry that my children, while they might have great intentions, may not be strong enough to witness to their friends alone. This is why it's so important as parents and adults to get involved in our kids lives as well as their friends!

The hardest part of being a parent is allowing them to make their own mistakes. It's easier to protect them but then they'll never learn.

My most important goal is to be the best human being I can and raise my children to do the same.

If marijuana was legal I would still say no. I watched my Father die 3 years ago from the long term effects of it....very sad!

I am native so mine would be to the great Spirit but it would be, "Why don't people accept people of other religions instead of demanding that only theirs is right?"

The greatest problem in the world in my opinion is a lack of acceptance and understanding of differences.

Always making sure i set a good example (remember we are only human)
To raise good and successful girls that will be strong and happy with choices they make later in life.
Yes i would still say it would be wrong to smoke it. Does it lead to other types of drug use? I think so....
Am i doing a good job here on earth. Am i living up to your standads.
My age is 50 and I can't think of any one thing that is a problem. Just getting by day to day and making choices that i can live with

If marijuana were legalized, would it still be wrong to smoke it?

Umm... Its a plant. Its not wrong to smoke it whether its legal or illegal.

What is wrong is the government throwing people in jail for cultivating a plant.

THC has so many useful medicinal qualities its a tragedy of epic proportions that our racist, incomprehensibly stupid laws criminalize the use of this flower.

- Give us some hints for crying out loud!!!!

- The bombardment of info of what is cool, ok to do, who to believe, what to look at and listen to. All the while, us parents are trying to get your attention, since we have been in your shoes and understand (sort of) what is going on in your heads and your bodies
