HI,
What I do is a 30 min. workout every other day. Here's a website where I got how-to exercises, (there are so many to do, so I just picked the ones I enjoyed doing the most, and ones which took me about 30min.).

http://www.lhj.com/lhj/health/;jsessionid=CYWVV4WHGJZRVQFIBQPR5VQ

Also I drink about a cup of water with a 1/4 tsp. of Cayenne pepper every morning. Cayenne pepper is really good for you, and it will speed your metabolism up, which will then help you to digest your food faster. Also (and I know everyone says this) but drink tons of water, like 8 glasses a day. (we all mistake dehydration for hunger pains, and so we eat, and the pains will never go away. So when you think you have hunger pains drink a glass of water and wait a little while, if it goes away great, if not eat some fruit, or grab a hand full of almonds).
Slowly cut out foods and drinks, such as pop, candy, and so on. And let's say your mom makes a cake, go a head and eat, but only a tiny slice! (If you totally deprive yourself of sweets and other foods you love, then you will get to the point you can’t handle it so then you over do it). And, when you do eat, eat very slowly, it takes your brain awhile to realize that you are full. At dinner time take small portions of whatever your mom made, if you are still hungry maybe have extra salad, or eat a piece of fruit.
And the main thing is, be happy about who you are and how you look. If you tell yourself you are fat and ugly, then when you look in the mirror you will se yourself fat and ugly, even though other people may see you thin and pretty. Just remember that. Tell yourself that you are thin. I know, I use to have the lowest self-image, but a friend helped me out and now I see myself how others do. I’m happier, and I discovered that it helps me to lose weight and feel healthy.
Well I hope I have helped you! Have fun!

Blessings,
Summerdawn_16

P.S. Oh, and don't ever miss a meal! Especially breakfast! Start your day with a healthy meal, such as oatmeal, or eggs and a slice of whole-wheat toast!

Ok - you're 11, this will be very simple if you are willing to be committed to exercise and fitness. Here's what I suggest:

1. Wake up early every morning for a jog - morning is best b/c you wil be burning fat to fuel your cardio (if you have problems getting up early you can do this after school or immediately after weight training BEFORE you go home and eat). Start with relatively short distances, such as 1-2 miles.
2. Stop eating all junk food - this includes candy, soda, anything with extra sugar in it. If you cut back your sugars to fruits (not juice) only, the weight will fall off of you.
3. Start drinking lots of water - I'm talking around a gallon a day. This will help your kidneys process the waste from your body and keep you properly hydrated.
4. Make sure you eat something substantial for breakfast - I'm talking 2 - 3 eggs/egg whites and oatmeal. Eat a lunch that is high in protein - chicken breast, tuna, even low sodium cold-cuts on low carb/high fiber bread with cheese. You'll need some kind of vegetable to go with it - baby carrots, celery, broccoli, spinach, whatever. Do the same thing for dinner as you did lunch. Make sure you bring small snacks with you to school, like little protein bars, and eat one between breakfast and lunch and one right when you get home.
5. On days you weight train the gym - make sure you eat IMMEDIATELY after you've worked out and drink lots of water during your training session.

I promise if you can do this for just a month, and I mean seriously adhere to what I've said, you will lose 10 - 20 lbs and start building muscle that will help make permanent changes to your metabolism and help you stay lean for the rest of your life. Think you can handle it?

You wanna loose fat? Carido and/or Aerobics is the key. You need to do 45-60 minutes 5-6 days a week if you want results. Cardio consist of Walking/Running, Treadmill, Eliptical, Stationary Bike, Spinning. Do any of these.

Use the other machine to tone. Use them every other day. Work up to doing more reps.

As for a diet. Just reduce the calories you consume. Stop drinking sodas if you do now. Drink plently of water everyday. Crystal light is very good...pick some up.

I know it doesn't help when people are telling you aren't fat when you look in the mirror and are not comfortable with your self. As far as dieting, here is what you do: Cut your calories down to 1000 per day. The best way to do this is to have 3 meals with 300 calories each and 1 100 calorie snack. Drink lots of water when you are hungry, it really does help. The best way I have found to get 300 calories in 1 meal is in the frozen section of your local grocery store. There are many different kinds of meals from Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice and Smart Ones. Also, this web site helps: Sparkpeople.com Good Luck :-)

Calm down. You are not fat. And you do not need a personal trainer. Your parents are right. Stop eating junk/fast food. Don't drink sodas. Get out and at least walk for an hour everyday. Make sure you do this is a secure area with someone with you for safety. You might need to lose 10 lbs. That is IT. No more.

you don't need a personal trainer, but ask the employees at the gym to offer suggestions for you. that's part of their job. eat a well balanced diet with proper portions (read labels!), drink lots of water (64 oz each day), and exercise at least 30 minutes a day.

try a healthy diet of fish (like tuna and salmon), plain chicken, rice, veggies and fruit

then work out by bike riding for 2-4 miles or running that distant every other day

also work on abs by doing crunches---the jellybean or ab doer is great for this

i would also work on tone and definiton in the arms by lifting 5-10 pound weights when you go for a walk or light jog

good luck! :)

You get very frightened around him. you prefer to do something to maintain him happy and you sense like your in the clouds. of direction don't be fooled by using a overwhelm they have very virtually the comparable indications yet you will understand while it is love. that's a deep, good feeling which you won't be in a position to do away with.
