I'm taking my girlfriend to the LA area in April, and this hotel looked really nice and romantic. Can anyone give me a recommendation?

If you're looking for a reccomendation for the hotel-yes, it's fine. But then again, as far as the area goes it's a relative answer since it is in the company of The Montage, The St. Regis & The Ritz Carlton.....any of those are of course nicer & possibly more romantic. But for value-Yes, the Marriott is great for the area. Another cool choice is the Surf & Sand in nearby Laguna-not so chainish but very nice w/o being out of control on price. Plus, they have an awesome restaurant!

Its fine but it really doesn't stand out to be anything grand or fantastic. Your gonna spend alot of money..How about palm springs. Hotel Esmerelda is fantastic
