The family is sitting at the table. The mother is leaning back, hand outstreched to feed the forse a nibble of table food. The food looks like cheese and apple pie. The grandmother is cutting a loaf of bread. A son, daughter and small child are also around the table. A man with a beard is standing in the background. There is a large mullioned window alcove/bay with lace curtains and potted plants on the window sill.

It is called One of The Family and it is by Frederick Cotman
I remember this picture in a book when i was a child ..I loved it and we always thought the grandmother was going to cut herself on the bread.
