compliment a girl, then over the course of the next week, find topics of discussion. talk to her/ them and get to know them. before you know it youll have made some new friends. dont rush anything though. if you want a good relationship you just have to let it build gradually.

Have you tried doing some volunteering - look on the internet in your area for things to volunteer to. Good for meeting other people. Perhaps a part-time job in a bar or club will help you meet others? Maybe chatrooms or forums? If you're religous, there's always the church, they organise lots of coffee mornings etc. to meet people. What about trying a holiday specifically for singles, so you can meet other single people and ladies? Get a dog (yours or someone elses) and walk it in a busy park, you're bound to meet people as well. Perhaps a course at night school that might have lots of ladies on it? Thats about all I can think of.

just walk up to a girl compliment her shoes or hair and strike up a conversation. it really isn't that hard. it may take a few tries but eventually you will make some friends.seriously what's the worst that can happen? if you do get laughed at or something, you probably don't want her as a friend anyway.

Take some night classes or join an appreciation group that focus on something that you're interested in that way you'll have a topic of conversation straight away

i am kind of shy when i meet new people but then i get over with it you've just got to trust your instincts and don't give a hell what other people think of you. as long as some people like you you are ok.
