I jsut read a question which has prompted me to ask this....we just got one, the 6 speakers are in the back and the sound is horrible, we have tried adjusting it, not improved, there is like a humming bass, and it distorts the sound, when we go to high def the sound is so low, even turned alll the way up, that we can hardly hear it.......any ideas on how to improve it? the speakers (6) are all in the back....we did try moving the t.v and that didn't make a difference, any suggestins would be welcome......thankyou, good day to you.

This is probably just a selling gimmick for the TV, and it probably doen't offer good sound although it has "Six Speakers" !!! Most TV's are very low in sound quality and a few are hi-fi but I still question that. I once had a TV with a Bose sound system in it! It did sound pretty good compared to regular TV's, but still, if I were to turn it up very loud especially with music, it still wasn't all that it was meant to be.!! So the only way to go is with an outboard home theater sound system that is separate from the TV!! I hoped this helps.
