My wife lived on chips and the hottest salsa she could find when she was pregnant. No problems.

No. The worst that will happen is heartburn and indigestion which is common in pregnant women anyway. But spicy things sometimes make it worse. But many pregnant women crave spicy foods while pregnant. It won't hurt the baby.

No, but I ate a bunch of them when I was pregnant, and they gave me horrendous heart burn and I ended up throwing up. Even though I had never had an issue with them in the past.

any food or chemical that will make your stomach convulse and lower GI work harder will perhaps induce labor. I have heard of spicy pizza doing that.
