Is a lack of pride for yourself as satanic as an excess of pride? Which is worse?

Lack of pride in oneself equates to low self-esteem. Excess pride in oneself leads to egotism. Both are equally unsuitable but if given a choice, the former is worse, because it will end up limiting your abilities instead of making you go all out, fall and get up again like egotism does. Not an easy thing to do, but life's tough anyway.

I wouldn't call either of these things "Satanic".

Having an excess of pride is a sin. One of the seven deadly sins, in fact. So I would say it is pretty bad.

Humility is put forth in the Bible as a good sign of a believer, and "blessed are the meek" is said. Obviously a lack of pride is not a sin. However, it can be detrimental when in the extreme. You should have pride in your faith, for example. Be proud to be a Christian! Just don't be so proud that you judge or persecute others. Also, having a little bit of pride is good as part of your self esteem. Having healthy self-esteem will help you take care of yourself and others, and this will help you spread the Word throughout your life.

I don't believe that lack of pride or excess of pride is Satanic. For something to be considered Satanic, it needs to be truly evil. At least that's my opinion.

To be "proud" in one's self is not a sin, it is "how" that pride is applied in wrongful behaviors that is and why mankind's perception "is" that every person who shows pride is a sinner.
Those of the Lord in heaven should be "proud" they ARE of his kingdom.
