Consider this question without trying to reach into your religious doctrine. This question is straightforward and is not to insult, but to gain understanding.

Why do you believe?

If someone today told you that a person was healing the sick, turning water to wine, and performing miraculous miracles would you believe him? Probably not.

If you saw for yourself these miracles being performed right before your eyes, would you NOW be willing to believe that this person was for real? Probably not.

So why do you believe?

In my opinion, you’re not putting your faith in God. What you are doing though, is putting your faith in words written under 2000 years ago by extremely superstitious people. Added to this, it wasn’t all the information that you’re getting in the Bible. What you’re getting is doctrine that was edited by a committee that decided on what was and what wasn’t going to be put in the Bible. Then this information was controlled by a historically corrupt group.

Is there any more validity in what people 2000 years ago have said vs what people say today?

For 30 some years I would of stood right beside you and preached those words with you, and even adding some.

But G_D personally choose to make a fool of me for I called him a fool for so long. He personally showed me, my own eyes, my own body saw and felt it all. I have no "belief", "faith" as many say. I have zero doubt, for I have done the 3 things I demand as proof....see, touch, feel.

If I understand your "question", here is my reply:
Jesus did more than a few simple parlor tricks. How many magicians do you know that can take a rotting stinking corpse and bring it back to life? When enough people witness this, along with all his other miracles, it has its way of being retold for 2000 years. It kind of lends credibility to someone who claims to be the son of God who has come to take the sins of the world upon himself. The more man thinks he knows, the more ignorant he becomes.

It is Divine Faith alone by which we give honor and glory to God, by which we adore His infinite wisdom and veracity. That adoration and worship is necessary for salvation.

If God has intended that man should learn His religion from a book, the Bible, surely God would have given that book to man. Christ would have given that book to man.

Christ did not say, "Sit down and write Bibles and scatter them over the earth, and let every man read his Bible and judge for himself." If Christ had said that, there would never have been a Christianity on the earth at all, but a Babylon and confusion instead, and never one Church, the union of one body. Hence, Christ never said to His Apostles, "Go and write Bibles and distribute them, and let everyone judge for himself." That injunction was reserved for the Sixteenth Century, and we have seen the result of it. Ever since the Sixteenth Century there have been springing up religion upon religion, and churches upon churches, all fighting and quarreling with one another, and all because of the private interpretation of the Bible.

You have injected a bit of personal opinion in your statement.
"extremely superstitious people"
"edited by a committee"
"historically corrupt group"
Where do you get this stuff?
Basically, all you've said is God is not capable of making a book.
Is that what you want me to believe?
Please do not make sweeping statements.
I beg you to make concise statements that are backed-up with proofs.
