I'm in my first yr of university and I had sex when I was foolish. So,
I have decided not to have sex till my wedding day. But temptation
comes my way all the time. Especially my flat mates, i hear them when they
have sex with their bf from my room. And i wish i could have sex but i
cant . Yesterday it got really worse that i could actually hear
everything the girl opposite was doing with her bf and i decided to text my ex
and i said i needed sex and i realised what I was about to get my self
into. So, i texted him back that it was a wrong text. What can i do to
stay strong? I wanna follow the commandment of God to the fullest. PLS
HELP!!!!!!!!!!

You are not alone. We all are going through this, not just those abstaining from sex.

I use to be married so I know what it is all about. It is very hard but what I usually do is not allow myself to look at movies with sexual innuendos or situations (very hard in these times since everything is sex). I tell Satan to get out of here in the name of Jesus cause I know where the temptation is coming from.

Basically, I don't think about it too much because my life is to busy and I am tired most of the time. But one thing, if the urge is very strong think about unwanted children, STDs, Genital Herpes, and what would really scare me AIDs.

A one time fling of pleasure could lead to one of these and a life of pure hell. Try dating someone with your beliefs and help each other.

Oh yes and try and find another flatmate.

May God release this urge from you, until the appropriate time, in the name of Jesus

Continue to pray, read your bible to stay grounded in the word, find a new place to live if possible, and find a like-minded friend that can help you through the rough spots (as you can help them with theirs). Also, I find that exercising helps. Trust me, after going a couple rounds in kick-boxing class, you'll be too worn out to think about sex.

I think you should get a new roommate that is against fornication.
This website will help see what the Bible have to say about Fornication:

Why not get married to someone. Divorce is a tragedy, but sex outside marriage is a sin.

Have sex. Sex isn't sinful its a natural thing that human beings engage in. Its for pleasure and in this day and age there is nothing wrong with premarital sex. Most people have numerous partners before marriage and it helps them know that they are with the one and only for the rest of their lives.
