On Tv There was this Guru that said all seperation between us is an illusion, and that we are all one being....(Or something like that).
But What about our individaulity as ourselves. Do we really separate when it comes to spirituality or are we still the same (one being). This really confused me when i begun to ponder. But in a way i undrerstood what he(GURU) was talking about. And still i completly understand when it comes to us being different. But where do they come togather.
Some people say that there is no such thing as a normal person. But there are always exceptions, dosent that mean that it is normal to be different?

To get to the root of this question one must define what is meant by " I ". I am _____ . What?
The first idea is that I am a body.
But if you cut off my arm, I am still me! We don't look at the arm on the floor and say oh, there is the Rob we have known and loved.

The second idea is that I am a brain. Though, if I get brain damage, my friends take care of me still...because I am the same Rob that they have known and loved...just because my brain does not function properly does not change who I am.

The third idea is that I am my thoughts. It appears as though my thoughts are completely unique to me...that I create them in my own mind. This is a trickier idea to get past...but it can be seen that thoughts happen to us rather than by us, with a simple excersize.
All you have to do is try to predict what your next thought is going to be. It is an impossible task. At best you can predict what your thoughts may be about...but you cannot decide precisely what your next thought is going to be.
The thoughts arise spontaneously in the mind, and we are simply conditioned to believe that we are their author.

Eventually, we get to the point where what we believed was outside of us, is really just inside of us. Does the ball exist outside of me? No! the existence and experience of the bal is INSIDE me.
EVERYTHING is inside me...my family, friends, my room.

And beyond realizing this, one sees that all is simply the reflection of that which he is. Everything is the reflection of I...I am all, I am One, All is One.

I am a maverick, it doesn't mean I don't like people because I truly like most of them. The thing is seperation is never absolute, the human body requires contact and some kind of affection. There were tests done by the Nazis where they took a new born baby and put them isolation, even providing 100% outside care and all needs are satisfied, 100% of the babies died in a week or two because of the lack of exposure to contact. Of course we have similarities to others but we are different in that we have had different experiences, if someone else were hypothetically to have lived out your life they would have made the same decisions. Of course it is normal to be different. The irony here is that being normal is actually being abnormal because the norm is defined by being different so technically there is no normal there is just you with respect to society.

I watched a Guru like that one night, got really deep into it all and I was so far outside the box trying to keep up with him I think I tripped over a sphere somewhere.

Watch going too deep at times, you can make yourself go nutty for a bit. I did that just a bit ago when I was re-looking over the wavelength and UV spectrum. After logically going through it I was like " ok, so its all light or waves, so that means nothing is real, its just waves, and waves are energy, so again all we see, touch, and who we are, is just an illusion done with waves of energy." I had to knock on my desk to make sure I heard mass.

I am at heart an Animist. This quite simply means I believe the physical universe is alive. This aliveness is energy that is generated by the motion/vibrations/frequency of spirit that animates it all. What we define as physical is nothing more or less than lowering of the spirit frequency until it condenses to mass.
Consequently, there is only one; that is the universal underlying spirit that connects us and makes us one. So you see, separation and individuality are illusions.
