I work as a reservations manager for a small marina and resort in Florida. I just had a lady call me and ask me if I could "spruce" up a room for her for her parents 10th wedding anniversary. She is asking me what I think we should do to make the room more romantic. I say rose pedals on the bed and trickeled on the floor around the bed as well as a few nice smelling candles lit around the room. She wants more..not too much more, but simple things. I'm lost! What else can we do besides rose pedals and candles to make the room more romantic?

Try reading something like a Jackie Collins book
I'm sure they will have plenty of ideas for you to try

Is there any way you can suppy romantic music to the room? Also get a red lightbulb and some chocolate truffles, a little desert wine and pretty glasses. Forget the rose petals and put a trio of roses in a vase. The candles go in fire safe containers in the bath. Set out some pretty smelling bubble bath. Don't forget breath mints by the bed. Just some suggestions.

You could put nice wine and a nice romantic dinner in their room.
