I've had calamari, sure it tastes like rubber, but why would this one taste like amonia?

Ugh, it's gotta be bad. I had lobster once that smelled of ammonia and I still ate it. Bad decision. I didn't feel good for 2 days.

It wasn't a giant squid, it was a colossal squid. Different species.

Ammonia can be produced by fermenting urine.
