Prayers are lead in Arabic, but the sermons given by the imams are usually given in both Arabic and English. The reason being that all Muslims are urged to learn Arabic, the language of the Quran so that he/she has a much greater understanding of the words of the Quran. Much is lost in translation, especially when it comes to Arabic. There are teaching methods to help English-speaking Muslims learn the prayers using English, particularly so that they know what they are saying in their prayersand that they become familiar with the method of praying, but when in congregation, Arabic is always used. Even in other non-Arabic speaking countries.

Hope it helped!

The formal obligatory 5 prayers and optional sunnah prayers have to be in Arabic. Outside these prayers, you can say prayers in what ever language you are comfortable.
