How long have the two of you been together? If it's been long enough that you have an exclusive relationship, then he's a loser who deserves NO more of your time. I agree that men and women need time with their friends, without each other, but every single week, religiously? Not quite...sorry. Especially not if he's ditching you on your birthday. Something's up there, and it's nothing good. I'd tell him to go ahead and go out with the guys, but to lose your number somewhere during the night. If he cared at all about you he'd tell his friends he'd see 'em next week.

In all relationships communication is key. Tell him how you feel. That today is really important to you and you want to share it with him. If he truly cares about you and is not self centered he will realize that he is hurting you by shunning you on your special day, besides you only get one bday a year how many thursdays are there...52 i'm sure. By the way HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Like others are, they're those who don't seem to be for the items introduced by means of peers. Maybe he is contented that you'll be able to be on his birthday and that you're his nice pal :) If he does not desire any birthday reward, then simply move get him a few inspirational message or anything :))

Do not be strong! This ought to hurt! Feel the pain and see him for the idiot he is. Let him have his Thursday night with his friends. You plan something else. Then do not be available to him any more. Be busy. Find a man who honors your birthday. This guy is a total loser and you are better than this.

Sheesh, how long have u guys been together? Cuz yeah, I would be crushed and upset as well. I mean come on, there's like 52 Thursdays in a year. He can't spare one!? Yeah that's not cool. How old are you turning? Hell, if you're 21, I'll take you out for your birthday and show you how to have a damn good girl's night out. :)

If he is that into going out with his boy's on your bday then I think you need to break up with him. He is not even trying to be with you it sounds like. Girl you deserve better and I hope that you get better. Good Luck!!

I'd go out with my friends and live it up! Dance, drink, and have a blast. It's your day. Oh, and don't tell him where you are going. And if he calls, don't answer the phone. Sounds like he is taking you for granted and needs to be shook up a little. Happy birthday!

If he cannot make an exception on a special day then he clearly is not the guy you should be dating. He should be able to understand that you want to do something special with him on your bday.

I think it is very incosiderate of your boyfriend to disregard your feelings like that.....assuming you told him that it hurt your feelings that he's not spending your b-day with you.
If my boyfriend didi that to me, I would think that he wasn't very serious about the relationship or me and obviously didn't respect me enough to take my feelings into consideration, so I'd prob. dumb his sorry butt and find a better man.
