hey Jennifer,
I used to be an alcoholic. Ironically, it started when i had my heart broken yrs ago. I started drinking to forget about stuff. It doesnt work. You only end up with a bigger problem that prevents you from enjoying the rest of your life.
I dont know what kind of pills these are, but abuse of any drug is dangerous, and the stronger the pill the more urgent this is.
your "friend" has to either stop or get help. If she wont stop, you MUST get her help. No matter what her past, if you want her to have a future she needs to stop as soon as possible.
We dont think it will when its happening but life does get better after a heartbreak and you learn and meet someone better. She has got to understand that drugs will only make her life worse...much worse.
if you or she needs to talk just hit my profile and email me.
take care jenn

u should advise her to visit a psychiatirst, she obviously needs help. at the very least, you should consel her or tell her to call some help hotline and tell her to stop wasting her beauty and youth on some guy that's not worth her attention. i mean why give up a whole forest of trees for just one tree?
there are a hell lot of guys out there. she just has to search and pray at the same time for the right one to come along.

I would never advise sharing anyone's problems outside of you and them, but if they are endangering themselves, I think the policy changes. Try talking to her first and just say you're concerned. If you're still concerned for her health, you need to tell someone. Could you talk to a guidance counselor? Even anonymously?

Sounds like she needs real help. Best bet is to go and talk to a counselor or a parent. Be a friend and be there for her and get her the help she needs.
Good luck.

let her know that she is being way too depressed, and needs to stop doing the pills. you wouldn't want her life to be all about the pills, do you?

She needs therapy. If you dont do anything fast she might kill herself. I kno alot of people like her. and my best friend killed herself last year, because of a secret i was told to keep. GET HELP!!!!!!!!! Don't make the mistake i did.

If this is a friend of yours it would benefit her for you to help her as her friend. If it is someone you dont really know you should talk to someone about helping her.
