O.K. here is the deal. I was givin a computer and when I would go on MySpace the computer would give me a pop up error that said there was an error and then my computer would reboot itself. I ran Norton thinking I had a virus and it said my computer had none, but when I looked at Norton again I noticed it expired in 2003. I have DSL through Embarq and they have free virus, spyware, and adaware downloads so I dedcided to do these. I had to uninstall Norton and then download the Embarq programs. Well the programs loaded and then gave me a message saying I had to reboot my computer to save changes. I hit o.k. and my computer went to reboot, but never came back on. When I turn it on it starts to start up, but the minute I see the screen that shows the Windows picture it turns off and reboots itself again. Please tell me how to make this stop. I can't get anything to open, so I can't click on my computer or any thing like that. It just keeps cycling over and over.

This query is a truly knee slapper to mention the least and I believe it merits a major and actual reply. Consequently I will faucet in to my sizeable abilities of untamed lifestyles to reply your query. By the way in which my reply additionally applys to home birds. Birds are conditioned from an overly younger age to not snort out loud regardless of what number of feathers are caught of their face. That is likely one of the motives the grownup birds take a seat at the child birds the primary week or so in their lives. During this valuable conditioning time if the child hen such a lot as chuckles then it's scoulded significantly through it`s mum and dad and scorned through it`s sibling. Any time you spot an grownup hen that laughs out loud plenty frequently it may be traced to a failure of it`s mum and dad to sit down on it with their tail feathers caught in it`s face while it used to be a child. No, I didn't make this up. I simply recognise plenty of stuff and don`t brain sharing it with the fewer proficient people like yourself. Hope my reply cleared matters up for you. If so I am pleased I would support.

I would suggest doing a restore of your operating system. If you have the windows disc , start over.
If you have anything you don't want to loose, try to back it up.
if that isn't possable then you may loose those items with a
new install.
You may want to call a local Computer repair center and ask them if they have any solutions before you try a restore. If they
think you've done something to cause this, they might have a
solution for you over the phone.
Good Luck.

As soon as you hit the power key, continue to hit F8 key until you get a black & white menu screen, then boot into safe mode and diagnose your problem. Chances are you've got stuff fighting each other.

that happened to me a couple years ago. i don't think there's a way to save your computer since there is a virus. you have to reinstall the complete OS. i'm not sure of the exact procedure, but if you call your computer's manufacturer they will help!
