Why would you want to. That is a very painful procedure that has no medical basis.

The age to get a dogs ears clipped is 12 weeks old (3 months) or younger.

Now the cartilage has already formed in the ear...

Typically ear cropping is done when they are less than 13 weeks I think.. It is purely a cosmetic surgery.. It is painful for the dog.. They undergo anesthesia and afterwards the ears require much care as they heal. the ear needs to be trained to stand up properly.. and there will be bandages.. Which means risk for infection for the dog..
Tail docking, is usually done when they are very small. and is supposed to cause no pain to the dog..

No!!! Absolutely not! This has to be done by a vet, when they are puppies, only. If you do this yourself, your dog can die. Dogs have veins and nerves running through their ears, and even if you have the vet do it, it is considered surgery. It will be very painful for your dog, and will most likely bite if you try to cut it's ears! And could quite possibly bleed to death, or die of an infection.
I had this explained to me by a vet, I had a Doberman and wanted to have his ears cut, and he talked me out of it. Vets don't even like to do it, because it causes the dog a lot of unnecessary suffering. Most won't do it anymore unless you plan to show the dog. If you love your dog, you wouldn't want to put him through that!

OH MY... no! I am pro crop and dock, but cropping a dogs ears after 16 wks is foolish. I'm sure there would be some vet that would gladly take your money, but most vets prefer pups to be between 8-10 wks and will not crop older dogs.

no, absolutely not! no reputable vet will do such a pointless and painful procedure on a dog that old. why do you want to cut your dogs ears off anyway? i have a feeling he'd rather keep them. love him for who he is, not how he looks. if you want to look tough, why not get a tattoo or cut your own ears off instead of mutilating your dog.

No, he's too old. Even if you do have them cropped, the cartilage is already formed and they will not stand, they'll just flop over and look stupid.

do you really need to cut your poor dogs ears off.....the reason that was started is for fighting reasons....and if he's just a pet can't you still love him with his ears?? i think its mean (but thats just my opinion) if you really want to ask a perfecional that does that sort of thing and PLEASE don't do it yourself.....
