Because most other guys (friend's) are usually threatened or feel jealous or have their plans burdened when a guy does something for his gf. I don't think it is considered being whipped it is called compromise and perhaps if more people did so (and this does not mean giving up your friends or anything about yourself that you feel that you really cannot for the sake of the relationship...that means leave..) perhaps more relationships would last...Take care and good luck and don't pay any mind to what some ignorant idiots have to say about you and your relationship, there is only the two of you in and you have to do what's going to make you happy....

If the accusation is coming from his male friends, they may just be jealous of the relationship and want to get a rise out of the guy. All relationships should be both give and take. If you can see in your relationship that everything is equal, who cares what anyone else thinks?

Anyone who says that is a backwards thinker who still believes that women exist to serve men. I'd just slap 'em and say "Now who's whipped???" I think a guy who does nice things for his girlfriend is a way bigger man than those who feel the need to belittle others.

Other men may think that but other women would think you are kind and considerate. Forget what the guys think unless you're planning to marry one of them.
