Ask! People are glad to donate and help a good cause.

If that doesn't work, make some money!
I remember doing a car wash back when I was raising money for my high school choir. It was fun working with everyone, we got a workout (some of us got a nice tan ^_^) and people were happy about their clean cars.

The equipment needed was inexpensive; things like sponges, soap, buckets, old rags, and hoses could be scrounged up. Our school supplied the water and space.

We made quite a decent amount in profit + tips =]

the normal things: car washes, bake sales, etc

Pizza Hut, Bob Evans, Uno's and numerous other restaurants offer partnerships so that you can take in 15 or 20 percent of their profits for a night if you do publicity. Talk with restaurants in the community to set this up. My class (I'm a college senior) is working at Rita's Italian Ice this weekend and we'll earn 15% of the proceeds to go towards our senior class gift.

Sell T-shirts with a school logo. Organize a raffle. Maybe the prizes can be great Mother's Day gifts or graduation presents.

Candy Bar sales are typically successful. You could even make new wrappers to put around them thanking people for supporting your school.

Talk with your school's administration and see if your school can offer advertising in the yearbook or school newspaper or graduation program in exchange for a donation from a local business.

Try penny wars between the homerooms in your senior class. Each class gets a container and needs to fill it with pennies. Other classes try to put silver coins in. You add up all the pennies, subtract off the silver, and see which class wins. The winning class could get a small prize, but your class would keep all the money.

Hope these ideas help you have a nice class trip!

Here are a few fundraisers I can think of off the top of my head maybe one of them will be lucrative for you.

Selling candy if that is not prohibited in your school. Worlds Finest Chocolate is always popular.

If you know an Avon representative you could check with them about helping you do a fundraiser. Expecially if Avon is popular there.

A school dance, you might not make a lot of profit but maybe youll get some.

Car Washes expecially if weather is good and sunny.

Look for fundraisers online and see what you come up with.

If you have a restaurant in your area that is real popular you might want to talk to the manager about hosting a night for your class, where part of the nights tickets go to your class for the trip.

Cookie dough is a pretty good fundraiser, several companies that do this.

These are the only ones that I can think of that are pretty popular here.
