Just moved to western Chicago suburb and want to play bar Texas Hold'em. Played at local bars in FL through NPPL. Any good places in west Chicago suburbs (Elmhurst to Naiperville)?

Hi,

Why don't you approach a bar owner and set up your own tournament.................it could become the hottest place in town given the popularity of the game.

If you want to win more like 90% of the time when you play take a look at: www.swattexasholdem.com and www.swattexasholdem.com/2/

The product does what it says on the tin and is fully guaranteed too for two whole months.

Cheers

A lot of bars have video Texas Hold 'Em games...for fun only. Poker is illegal in Illinois. I know there are live games through an organization called Rockford Charitable Games...rockfordcharitablegames.org. I guess those are allowed because it's not a "buy in" it's a donation to charity so therefore you aren't really gambling. I don't know, can't figure it all out. But other than for charity events, you won't find any live poker games in bars in illinois.
