Can a man legally marry his widow's sister in the state of California?

Well, I thought about seriously for a minute and thought, "maybe if he married his wife's sister before he died after getting a divorce," but then I realized, "But then the sister would be the widdow and the other would be the ex" which would make it not only illegal, but impossible. So yeah, it is not legal for him to do that.
But then I also thought "Well California is kinda a crazy state, maybe they have some weird law making it legal, so I looked California up on Dumblaws.com which mentioned nothing of this man being allowed to marry his widow's sister issue, but it did say, "Animals are banned from mating publicly within 1,500 feet of a tavern, school, or place of worship." So if you are in California and see two squirrels getting their squirrel on anywhere near these places, you should call the local authorities so they can take them down to the station and book 'em.

how can a dead man marry someone? unless she was a sick person who liked dead bodies. but in this case no he can't.
