Why do you feel the need to get a "nice buzz"? Sounds like borderline alcoholism to me.

You don't want a hangover, don't drink so much. Works for me!

EDIT: Grow up "Hot Tams" (now there's a laugher)! Silly little child.

Different types of alcohols affect people differently. I can drink vodka and never get a hangover, but if i have a lot of beer or any some of rum I will feel horribly the next day. try drinking a different type of drink and if its hard alcohol, make sure its not a super strong drink so you get drunk slower. Most importantly, know when to stop. Most of the time a hangover (at least for me) is when I've drank too much the night before

go to a health food store like harvest or bread and circus and look for a product called emergen-c. The key to it is the b vitamins. and the 1000% rda ov vit.c doesn't hurt either. chug down some water before bed and have one of these drinks when you get up. you'll feel fine. They come in little envelopes and you mix the powder with water or juice. Some pharmacies are starting to carry them as well.

Try eating lemon. It dissolves methyl alcohol which leads to hang over. Once hang over occurs, you should drink lots of water and eat plain yogurt. Yogurt helps restore your stomach functions, while water helps lower alcohol degree in your body. The best cure against hang over would be to drink the water taken out of sauerkraut. It's easy for me here in Serbia, because we make our own home made sauerkraut, but I don't know if you have that stuff in your super markets.

Those things really help me. I'm still looking for the perfect natural cure to prevent from hang over headache and i still haven't found it. So far I just know how to help my body get over hang over. I'll let you know when i find out what to do with your headache.

Eat a good balanced meal before you go out, NOT fatty but more carbohydrate. Before you go to bed drink two glasses of water and take paracetamol. First thing in the morning drink a glass of water and then fresh orange, works for me. Have fun.

Eat well before going bar hopping. And don't drink too much. Try to avoid hard liquor. I only drink beer, or maybe some wine. And while drinking, have some appetizers. The main key is to have some food along with the drinks.

Don't drink anything with soda in it- the fizz makes you sick. No shots, and if at all possible, if you know anyone with oxygen- a 20 minute dose of 100 percent oxygen will completely cure the worse hangover.........honest....

Drink lots of water before during and after. I have a similar situation and my friends make fun of me because I have a cup of water and a cup of alcohol at the same time. But it works!

Don't want to say: don't drink too much,lol... Eat something quite heavy (based on fat/oil) before you start and before going to bed have an "Alka Seltzer" and loads of water/even a salty snack!
