How can man prove he did?
If there were really a god like the one described in the bible, he wouldn't play hide and seek between the pages of an ancient book filled with even more ancient mythologies, and he wouldn't play guessing games involving "blind faith".

>how can a man deny that God created the heavens and the earth?
Well, the alternative is that there is something embedded in human brains that guarantees everyone has to believe that God created the heavens and the Earth. This of course is completely ridiculous. I'm not sure how this question is supposed to make sense, it's like asking 'How can natural selection not work?'- it's just a natural offshoot of how our Universe functions.

Yeah, anyway,
Disease will eventually wipe out man, due partly to global warming and changes in teh ecology, the earth will shake us off like a bad case of fleas,
This may happen a few hundred to a thousand years from now,
then a new dominant mammal (probably) will reign supreme on earth,
eventually, our medium ordinary star we call the sun will go supernova and our earth and our solar system will get sucked up in it,
much later, our galaxy will collide with our neighboring galaxy, andromeda...
I'm sorry, but I have no clue about this rewards God heaven and hell thing you speak of....

The million dollar question: Will you go to Heaven? Here's a quick test. Have you ever told a lie, stolen anything, or used God's name in vain? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you looked with lust? Will you be guilty on Judgment Day? If you have done those things God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart. The Bible warns that if you are guilty you will end up in Hell. That's not God's will. He sent His Son to suffer and die on the cross for you. Jesus took your punishment upon Himself -"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Then He rose from the dead and defeated death. Please, repent (turn from sin) today and trust in Jesus, and God will grant you everlasting life. Then read your Bible daily and obey it.

The only way to answer your question is for you to first understand the word "empathy." Empathy is different from sympathy (i.e. feeling sorry for someone), because empathy means that you are able to look at an issue from someone else's perspective. A little empathy goes a long way here.
I am, for instance, empathetic to your view that there is a God, and he created the universe. I don't believe it, but I understand how you do. I once believed in myths myself. In order for you to empathize with those who, like me, don't believe in God or Zeus or Allah, or whatever you want to call him, you must first try to view religion from an "outside looking in" perspective. I imagine that you have always viewed your faith from an "inside looking out" perspective; i.e. you don't question it, you have no doubt, and you have "faith." Faith, while renowned in our society as something noble and worth having, merely means belief without evidence. What nobility is there in such an absurd concept? Why would God require such an odd quality as the only method for reaching heaven? Seems strange to someone with an outside looking in perspective.
If I were to tell you that your wife was cheating on you or that frozen yogurt could turn you invisible to others, you would probably require proof from me to support those claims. However, if you are told that the book you keep by your bedside was written by the God of the universe and that if you don't obey its tenets, you will spend eternity in hell, you don't seem to require any proof whatsoever.
I'm not completely willing to dismiss the idea of a God, but I believe that if there is a God, he should be as provable as any other testable hypothisis or theory. This is what we call rationalism. Additionally, if there is a God and he created me, that means that rationalism is a gift from God. I shouldn't have to check my brain at the church door along with my jacket. My brain tells me to value evidence and reject conjecture without proof.
An additional problem is that there are at least three religions that claim to have a Godly book; each telling them to follow a different religion. How do we know that the books are telling the truth? Because the books themselves say so! These type of logic loopholes are quickly drawing this world close to the brink of oblivion, particularly in the nuclear age.
If there is a choice between a heaven and a hell, I choose heaven, but I don't think I should have to disregard science, reason, and rationalism to get there. Ask yourself, is the nature of God's character contradictory from one verse to the next? Furthermore, why did God make William Shakespeare a better writer than himself? Does God love us? If so, is he really willing to let us spend eternity in suffering for the failure to believe in him without proof? Seems a little cruel to me. If there is a God, I'd like to think he wasn't so petty.

Simple: I look at man, and I see the same fragile, fleeting beauty to humanity you do. I look at the vastness around me and the diversity of nature, and I'm awed by its grandeur and beauty. I look up at the sky on a clear night and I'm amazed by the expanse and the distance of space.
I just choose to believe that natural forces created the wonder around me, instead of an unmoved mover.

Well given I do not believe in god, there is only one fate for me, death. I am going to die. There is no way around it. Since there is not a heaven or a hell, there is nothing to decide.

Well it's rather easy when the alternative is to accept aphoristic platitudes.
Of course, from the circular logic perspective of the bible, man cannot. I suppose you think that's proof?
