Yes, as long as it's an HD TV and receiving an HD signal.

Are you looking at buying a new HDTV, or trying to add HD service to your old TV set?

It's hard to find a CRT now that does HD. Most manufacturers put their HDTV development dollars into technologies like plasma, LCD or DLP, not into the CRT. If your looking at buying a new set, and you want HD, look somewhere other than a bulky CRT.

I have to disagree with the anti-CRT verbage. You can get a 51 inch Hitachi CRT 1080i, HDMI, etc... for about $800. It is about the same "bulkyness' as the DLP's. Dlp's bulbs need replacing every 2-3 yrs. Bulbs cost around $200-$400 depending on model. The reviews on the 51in Hitachi CRT have been great. 51 inches 1080, HDMI $800, sounds good to me.
