Its quite lonely and boring not having anyone to talk to!
I know i can get up and go and talk to people in other offices but its easier said than done when people are working!

I always longed for my own office and when I got it I hated it. Very lonely. In different job now and love being back among people.
Just think, you now have more time on the internet without getting caught and think of all the exercise you will get by getting up and going to another office for chats.

I had my own office too.. I found that If i turned the light off moved the chair round the corner I could have 4 hour naps after those heavy nights out.
it does get a bit lonely Try to get up and talk to people who are in the same building instead of emailing and phoning them. That way they will inturn come visit you and distract you from that dreaded monthly reporting.

I know the feeling! im in the same situation. My office is behind a coded door that nobody else knows the code to, so i very rarely get visitors. Doesnt mean i work all the time though! Im in my office right now! see!

Good luck. I always wish I could have had that when I worked in an office. Now I'm a 'housewife' at home with no-one to talk at all (JK!)

if you're lonely a private office is the best for dissapearing under your desk for a little mid-afternoon fondling...
or maybe you can start bangin' your boss as a sign of gratitude for the big office.

im at work also on my own with no one to talk to unless a customer comes in ....and they a few and far between
washed car , read paper , shopped on ebay
pulling my hair out now though here till 5 ....lol

You are soo lucky, I wish I had my own office, everywhere seems to be open plan now, you have a real luxury, you should be grateful.
