I have a friend who is taking care of a teen/child who lives with her and her family and was promised to be given monthly payments to help take care of him and it's been almost a year and she hasn't seen a dime out of the teen's mother. I think she's on welfare and is keeping the money for what ever reason. Is there anyway to get that info (confirm is she is or not) or should I just report the mother? All I have is the kids ss# and the mother's name. Thanks for taking the time out to read my question.

if your FRIEND is still taking care of this child after a year then she is crazy. Did the mother promise to pay her or did the social services department? Is the mother and child living with her and her family or just the child? if the child is the one living with her then she should contact the social services department and find out what her rights are.
