Yes I think porn is cheating . Because this person is looking at someone else. This person is getting sexually aroused and not by you. So yes porn is cheating

Get off your moralistic high horse. No one has ever contacted VD from watching porn. Would you rather they were out screwing someone else? Watching your neighbor is invading their privacy which is wrong. Watching porn is no different than sitting through some chick flick and about as entertaining. So yes you are just about the only one. To those who feel it is cheating, since your significant other is going to be in the dog house no matter what hopefully they will go out and do the real thing then instead of stroking one off safely at home. And when they do cheat for real hopefully they will bring a gift home to their self righteous partners. After that tell us if porn really is cheating. Next thing you'll say is having fantasies is cheating.

I DON'T think porn is like cheating, and I wouldn't say anything to my partner about it in a similar situation. In fact, my long time girlfriend (whom I mentioned in other answers, but with whom I managed to reestablish contact a few months ago) once (that was long ago) gave me a video cassette or two with porno movie. The thing is that I have nowhere to watch things like that.

Erotica (porn is a negative term) has been around for many years, and in a mature, well-balanced sexual relationship, couples make allowances for ALL forms of sexual arousal and pleasure.
That means that while they may have "preferences" (as a couple and as individuals), they make allowances for various forms of arousal and satisfaction.
That means that they do not consider masturbation to be a "second-rate" form of pleasure, just because they now have the option for unlimited couples sex.
We've been married over 36 years, we have a rich and satisfying sex life, but that doesn't mean that we just "abandonded" self-pleasure. We enjoy all common forms of pleasure - intercourse, oral and solo - and make room for them in our relationship.
So, no, viewing erotica and/or pleasuring one's self to it is NOT like cheating.
It's sad that some women - and men, for that matter - have this personal issue that ALL sexual pleasure within the relationship must come directly from THEM, and that the other person is somehow not allowed to pleasure themselves.

No, porn is not cheating. It means you have a normal and healthy sex drive. If you have two relationships going on at the same time, that's cheating whether there's sex involved or not.

I wouldn't like it if my partner were doing this at all, in fact I split with one for doing just that.
It is a form of cheating and yes, it IS pornography.
Your partner may have a sexual addiction too.
It can also make you feel very insecure about your relationship with your partner and for good reason.
I would open the lines of communication and see what you get. It doesn't sound to me like a healthy relationship if he is seeking sexual gratification outside the home
Good luck! :)
