Probably a bit...my aunt is a vet, and she tells people to replace some of the dog's kibble with green beans to help them lose weight. It sounds a little weird, but she tells me that very few people say their dogs absolutely refused the kibble and beans combo. Also, be sure to follow the feeding guidelines on the food bag/can and make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise!

I have the parson jack russell (taller legs)...she is 15lbs----1yr old ...muscular...and the vet always says what great shape she is in. I'm not sure how much a llaso aposo should weigh but that seems like a decent weight though, I have seen jack russells weigh in the upper teens and not really be overweight...they just have a lot of muscle.

I would have to personally see the animal to make judgement. But most Jack Russells I've seen are pretty "beefy" as in muscular...and as we know muscle is heavier than fat....but being part Llasa Apso would mean the dog is pretty small, right? It's best to ask your vet. If you are worried about keeping tabs on weight, most vets will let you bring your dog in to weigh at no cost.

I also have a small dog and my vet told me that as long as you can run your hand down and feel a little bit of ribs that is fine. My Cairn Terrier probably weighs the same as your dog. Now that Spring is here, take your dog outside and play ball. That is what I am doing with mine.

I would say your dogs a little chubby. Ten pounds should be the high end for the bread mix you've given.
