I mean come on he cannot be that dumb surely at some point he must have read revelations and knows what is going to happen.

Satan did apologize. God allowed him to stick around to help 'weed out' any non-believers through temptations.

Uh. No.

Remember this. Satan was perfect when he rebelled, just as Adam & Eve were. There was no excuse for any of them. They made a conscious choice, unclouded by imperfection. We on the other hand have been stained by sin and the influence of Satan on the world we live in. That is why we are forgiven. Think of what an apology consists of. I'm sorry. I made a mistake? I didn't know what I was doing? Could a perfect being use those excuses?

Poseidon: It is the judgment of humans that is still to come. Satan and his demons were already judged and deemed fit for destructon. Read Revelation chapter 12 and you'll see that a battle was waged in heaven where Satan and his demons were toss out of heaven by Michael the Archangel. As far as timing goes? Obviously if in the book of Job we see that he goes into the every presense of God, his ouster from heaven happened afterward.

Millajavovic? With respect there is nothing in the account you cite that said God was in any way whatsoever tricked. God knew exactly what he was doing when he allowed Job's faith to be tested. And if you notice, at the end of his test, when Job proved his faithfulness under trial, he was rewarded with receiving twice what Satan had taken away from him.

Satan is alraedy in a bad situation. He is divorced from God. What fiere could be worse then this?
It results satan is a so big sinner that he doesn't love God and he is not desperately to ask forgiveness. He just wanted a glory only God deserves.

It is like then when a women preffers to marry a rich man , instead of marrying a poor man that loves her.
From what devil does...it results he is not about to apologize...and the Word of God will remain.
Anyway it is not our business to inquire about the devil...he.s so ugly and so bad ..that you cannot think about forgiveness espeacialy that God said it is out of question..

Not only that satan didn't apologise, but he also went to Jesus asking Him (who was also a God) to obey him ..the devil. The devil is so mad and stupid and bad.he has no raeson..People have died because of him, has cheated because of him, have made other suffer like hell because of him..Forget about satan..and be friend with the people..and angels. My priest used to say..Let satan...God is taking care of him..Maybe the more we see bad things in the world , the more we forgive satan and have mercy upon him..but I think he is no longer a being like God..that is why he shall go to hell. he has no feelings he only kills and hurt souls..While God plan how to make us happy , satan plan how to make me suffer .or try to make me divorce from my husband and so on..We are lucky that God is so great ...

In the book of Job Satan is a mischievous angle that tricks God into destroying Job's life while proving Job's faith. How is the all knowing and all seeing God tricked by Satan?

Is Satan not supposedly still on earth temping mankind in a game that he and God are still playing? According to the folklore, Satan doesn't want forgiveness he hates mankind and he hates God for loving mankind. He want humans to lose their faith in God.

The Bible taken as strictly literature is a great book of folklore and myths.

Hey Queenie that is your opinion not fact..It's not like we are talking about real life events here. Just because Job was rewarded doesn't mean God wasn't tricked.

Yes, Satan knows exactly what's going to happen, but it's not in his nature to apologize. He's too self-absorbed and bent on proving he is right and bent on trying to prove God wrong. Satan isn't wise, he's just old.

To the people that say satan is already judged: Is not judgement in revelations? Is that not yet to come? As I recall satan is judged and cast into the lake of fire then. If he is already judged how is he able to have council with god in the book of job?

Why would you apologize for doing something someone told you/made you do?

Besides, the one question never really 'answered' is: where did 'Satan' get the idea to rebel from anyway? Two turtles don't give birth to a squid or a Jackson Pollack painting.

The devil/Satan's job is to 'test' creation; the devil is God's drill sergeant.

What is wrong with writing G--O-D????
Talk about pride!

Read the bible, and you will realize that Satan doesnt want to be forgiven...

Why are Christians always accused of being uneducated...read the bible, come up with an intelligent question and then we can debate.

Satan has stood before god. . he know of his supposed omni-everything!

He would also know about revelations, etc...

How retarded would you have to be to not ask for forgiveness.

Satan is one of those things that makes absolutely no sense in religion.

Anyone who has not already been tried and judged, and condemned to death, is able to repent and be forgiven.
There is one (by name) that is already condemned to perish, being Satan.
There are many others, Angelic Beings, but not by name.
Would you kindly tell us why you put a dash instead of an "o" when you write "God"???
I really am interested...
