Heres what I do -

I give a positive rating to those I agree with and people who have taught me something that I did not know or understand. Also people who have good points from a different perspective than mine.

I give no rating to what I do not agree with or if someone is just throwing out unsupported "theories" or - is just disagreeing to disagree with no thought behind it.

I try not to give negative ratings unless someone has called me out of my name or trolling bigots and CBC's (cowards behind computers)

How do you Rate your answers?
Do you think the way I rate is fair?

I think you are pretty fair, from what you said.

I will give a thumbs up for the same as you.

No rating for neutral or no stance. Or if I cant make out what they are saying pro or con.

I dont thumbs down just because I dont agree. I have thumbs uped to arguements against what I believe & think, but it was sincere & well thought. I will give negatives for people that dont even answer the question but only go off on personal rants about the subject or another one (which happens). I will thumbs down any insults to others, even if it supports my feelings. I have given thumbs down to someone in a post that I put up, that agreed with me but was insulting others & I told them about it.

good question! I like this one. Like to see other responses.

About the same as you, but I rarely give thumbs up, and if I do, its because they pointed out some ignorance of mine that I didn't see, or it was funny, or if it was right.

Get 250 pts. and you'd be on point 2. then you certainly can "value" solutions with "thumbs up" and "thumbs down." merely click on the “thumbs up” icon to offer somebody a “thumbs up” and teach you approve of or like their answer; comparable yet opposite meaning with “thumbs down,” click on the icon to teach you disapprove or don’t like the respond.. It doesn’t value you any factors to “value” an answer yet, as quickly as you do value, you’re caught with that score. you could’t later replace your strategies and determine they don’t deserve the “thumbs up” or have regrets approximately giving a “thumbs down.” They’re continuously. Stars are undemanding techniques to teach popularity of questions. You click on the movie star icon to offer a movie star, click on a similar place to get rid of your movie star once you provide it. No factors in touch.. answer a question and get 2 pts. Ask a question and lose 5 pts. opt for the "ideal answer" on your question and get 3 of those 5 pts. back. Be chosen as "ideal answer" and get 10 pts. plus a million bonus pt. for each "thumbs up" your answer won. There’s no deduction for “thumbs down.” absolutely everyone, even human beings on point a million, can "vote" even although this is not comparable to "score" with thumbs up/down. Vote for "ideal answer" on unresolved questions “in balloting” and you get a million pt. in step with question. you could vote by using clicking on the “answer” toolbar on the real of the website then click on the “vote” tab or, once you notice the checklist of questions obtainable in a particular type, there’s a “vote” tab on the real of the questions. the two way, in case you vote then you certainly earn a element in step with question and help %. the “ideal answer.” you besides mght get a million pt. daily for merely logging in. It’s as undemanding as that! reliable success, you would be on point 2 precise away and then objective for point 3 (a million,000 to 2,499 pts.)
