I'm going away camping with my friends and we're all typically worried about our hair going really nasty and greasy. We are going from a thursday to a monday and there won't really be any access to showers. So is there anything that anyone could possibly recommend to basically prevent greasy hair that we might be able to take with us?
Thank-you :) x

You are going camping. Who honestly cares if your hair gets greasy???????? lol The whole point of camping is roughing it in the wilderness. Does it matter how your hair looks when people can't be within 3 feet of you because you smell? =-|

You can buy a dry shampoo from boots (cant remeber what it is called) but it comes in a spray can) it kind of sprays out white powder, you leave it on for a few mins then brush your hair through and it honestly does feel like you have just washed your hair,
I thought it was fantastic for in between washes im sure it will keep you going on your trip.
enjoy your camping trip im sure there will be lots of boys there or you wouldnt be bothered about your hair xx

I have found a great dry shampoo for people, I had only heard of this for dogs before. I can't remember what the website was, but I found it and ordered it online and it was called Batiste. Basically you just spray it in your hair and then wait a bit and brush it, it kind of dries up all the grease.

weeeell, make sure you go away with mega SUPER CLEAN hair. Keep it TIED up at all times, even when sleeping. keep it up in a plait or a bun, so you dont need to brush it, otherwise your hair will get REALLY greasy, especially if you think its getting greasy, as brushing "enahnces" it. Try not to eat any junk food, as thats unhealthy, and will make your hiar v. greasy.

Hope you have a good time! xx

well the best thing to do is style your hair first, such as braids or cornrows or something and if that doesn't work for you then wash your hair and don't use grease use non stick hair spray or a leave in conditioner. and leave your hair up like in a bun or ponytail. You don't want to wash your hair so often when your camping because lice and insects like that are attracted to clean hair. Good luck

If you have a good stove simply heat some water ,put it in a bowl and wash your hair!!.....failing that you could try that spray shampoo sometimes sold at chemist but I have never found it works!

You can go to boots and get some hair spray stuff which will freshen up your hair, lots of brands like Toni and Guy have them. They will help a lot!

sprinkle a little baby powder to soak up the grease BUT don't put too much or i'll be a sticky mess.

i personally would bring extra bottled water to wash my hair at least every other day. yucks
