Why does the left one have a heart and the right a R?

Why not just L and R?

What's the heart all about?

the lens case has usual R mark for right contact lens and a logo or a heart, indicating left eye, as our hearts are situated on the left of our chest.so that we dont confuse left with right!

Its just a pattern if one says R on for right its obvious the other one is Left so no need to state it, my lense case just has an R on one side and the brand logo on the other.
